It says.....
"DynoMax also markets the classic Thrush line of performance mufflers. Thrush
classic performance sound exhaust systems offer impressive capability at an
affordable price. The lineup includes the Thrush Turbo, the Thrush Glasspack and the
Thrush Turbo Tube."
I had Turbo Tubes on my F350 460 4bbl when I first converted it to duals in '88,
when it was one year old. They were fine...not too expensive and made of stainless,
but needed an equalizer to get rid of the rapping during deceleration. They lasted
up til about 3 years ago (I think they started to collapse inside), when I removed
all of the stock exhaust tubing behind the headers....it got JBA headers a LONG time
ago. It now has volcanic cinder packed turbo mufflers, with 4 inch exhaust and 3
inch tail pipes. Sounds good, but on a long trip begins to invade the brain. I'm
wanting to quiet it just a bit, possibly with resonators, but 4 inches is a rare
size for them. My local Midas guy is an enthusiast, and has said he will try to
find something for me when I'm ready.....that'll happen pretty soon, yeah sure!!
It's only been three years since I decided the new pipes are too loud......!
