[Shotimes] Engine codes

Common mistake, just throwing parts at codes.

In the future, pose these questions and codes FIRST and we'll try to save you some money ;^)

The 172 indicates a lean condition, right? That doesn't necessarily mean the O2 is bad, just that something is leaning out the right side. This is usually something like a vacuum leak at the intake gasket. If you're sure the O2's are good, this would be your next step. You could swap the new O2's and see if the condition switches sides.

The 332 is common, points to an EGR error, but does NOT mean the EGR valve is bad! This is covered on the FAQ, under "Maintenance", on www.shotimes.com. Check this out http://tinyurl.com/vjtj

Good luck!

My 95 ATX has recently had the CE light coming on intermittently.
The codes that came up are 172 and 332.
I have replaced the O2 sensors and the EGR valve.

The codes are still showing up along with the CE light.
Has anyone else had this problem and could give me some direction?
The car has 145,000.
TIA,
Kirk
