[Shotimes] ABS codes & sensor

I am getting a steady ABS light in my 91. I'm pretty sure it's the right
front sensor. It got loose a while back and, until I caught it, was rubbing
against the water-pump pulley. It may have got water inside the wire
housing, I wonder.

It's turning out to be a bear to get hold of a replacement sensor. I
ordered from Rock Auto and got the wrong part, ordered via the local store
and got the same wrong part. Something is wrong the system somewhere.

Can I take this car into a Ford dealer and ask them to read the ABS codes?
It'd be nice to get confirmation that the right front sensor is indeed the
issue. Would a Ford dealer be willing to perform only a diagnostic service,
without the repair?
