Yes, those are good, but you also need something like Norton Antivirus
too.  What I normally have on my machines are:

Hardware Router (Linksys, Netgear, etc)
Norton Antivirus
Zone Alarm Pro (actually Zone Labs Integrity Client)
Adaware
Spybot

These together seem reasonably good at securing a machine.
