[Shotimes] OT (computer stuf)

You guys sound like '60s-era IBM programmers!!!

If a product works well, the amount of memory and disk space it requires is
not a relevant concern. If it affects your PC, it's time to upgrade the PC.
Worrying about memory and disk space is a 1994 problem.....as in Back In The
Stone Age.

Ron Porter (yeah, I thought I was hot s**t in '86 with an 8086-chip AT&T
6300 home PC with a 20mb HD COLOR monitor, and 640kb!!)

I have always thought that anything MicroSoft was all anchor and bloat!

The old Atari did a lot with only 1/100 of the memory and wabout 1/1000 of
the disk storage space. Old dos (not even Windows) was sorta' OK.

Was happy with non-Windows dos, but they fixed what wasn't broken...

Is Linux any better?

Or maybe they "fixed" that too?
