You have to load the other OS on first and then load XP. If you load XP
first it will set up NTFS partitions that cannot be used by 98, 95 or
whatever you want. Also the boot loader will not work correctly. I
currently have DOS 6.22 only set up in a very small FAT partition for some
old programs and Win XP Pro on the remainder using a NTFS partition. If
you do this after you have been using your machine for a while it is a PTIA
because you will have to reformat your drives and reload all of your stuff.

Sure it is! Windows XP was supposed to have "supreme" compatibility with all
previous OS-based
software. The first issue w/ XP was the lack of software support.
Immediately, over 10 patches
became readily available to try and clear the mess up, which they didn't do
for me and still
don't. I guess it depends what you consider a bug. Maybe your not much of a
gamer, however I've
lost quite a few good programs when I had originally moved on to NT/XP. Not
a bad trade off, IMO.
Much easier to optimize system settings & juice the most out of PC
performance w/ significantly
better stability. Blue Screen of Death days are just history now! :)
