[Shotimes] 200k!

The dash is actually the same for all Gen 2.  Once the pull down ashtray
and associated bracketry is removed, the later Gen 2 console will bolt
right up.  I did just that in my old 92.

Yes, there were some carry overs from the Gen 1.  For instance, I was
enlightened by the rear seat discussion being discussed recently.
The center console was too, which I believe remained unchanged from the
89
intro.

However the dash itself is unique.  It has the Gen 2 instrument cluster,
and provision for an optional passenger airbag, but the area where the
radio and coin tray/cup holder reside is unique to the 92 because of the
way it interfaces with the center console.  It also has a pull down
ashtray/cig lighter.  In 93-95, Ford put in a "connector" to make it
flow
seemlessly with the new center console.
