I should rephrase the part there about nasty wear starting on it. I didn't
know how bad PP finger wear gcould be till I saw the one I pilled outta my
winter car. The one I got from you Robert, had a little wear on it, which is
why it's still on the shelf for an emergency package deal. The one I got
from Mark was like new. I think he said he might have put 10k on the clutch
if that in his winter beater.
This is also much first time doing a clutch on a car. So I had no idea how
bad wear could be till I saw what I saw yesterday. I forgot my CF card for
my camera so one Paul emails me the pics I'll get them posted if anyone is
intested.

Where's the FW & PP that was on the motor I gave you? IIRC There was
nothing wrong with them.

Well I pulled out one of the spares I have and it is just about perfectly
flat. I'm gonna get some corse sandpaper for my palm sander and just rough
it up for a good surface to have the clutch bite into. This is gonna be a DD
car for the winter, and then I'm prolly going to part it out cause I'd never
be able to sell it for what I paid for it. But all in all I'd like to have a
smooth engagement on the clutch. I do also have a FW and clutch that came
off the same engine, that I could put on there, though the PP had some nasty
wear starting on it, so I'd have to use the newer PP.

Even at $40.00... It's a 6 hour job. Do you really want to re-do it because
you wanted to save $40.00? What's your time worth? :-)
