Rob, the Air boats are also along 192 heading into Melbourne as well, But I
forgot how to get to there from the Orlando/Kissimmee side. Outlet stores
are there on that road as well..
And Joe Don't forget about Race Rock for lunch!

The BEST way, but not the cheapest way, to avoid traffic in and through
Orlando is to take the 417 (toll road) around the city. It starts just
south of
St. John's River (between Deltona and Sanford, which is north of Orlando)
and
goes all the way to Disney. It actually dumps you off right on 192, main
entrance into Disney World. It will cost you about $6.00 to go all the way
around,
but you'll save time and there really isn't anything to see going through
Orlando. Going south (west on I-4) in the morning is BAD, and going North
(East on
I-4) is bad in the evening.
As far as tickets - I don't have any! I haven't been to Disney World in
Years. Busch Gardens in Tampa and Sea World in Orlando both offer FREE BEER
at
their Hospitality House locations.
The 'BEST Beach' in Central Florida is Play-a-Linda, the northern most part
is NUDE, but it's the most pristine beach in a 100 mile radius. It's
official
name is Canaveral National Seashore. If you're heading over to Tampa/St.
Pete
then you HAVE to go to Ft. Desoto Beach. It's the best beach in that
vicinity.
Try and get away from the tourist areas, I know most of us who live here do.
You could try an airboat ride along East 50 (Colonial). It's on the way to
and from the beach and Kennedy Space Center. Very few Tourists know about
that,
and you can see some of the natural sites still around the Central Florida
area. There's the Natural Springs that are in the Wekiva State Park. The
Orlando Magic stink this year, so you could probably get tickets to any
game. If
you're in Deltona, Mount Dora is a real Gem of a town to go and spend a few
hours antiquing.
If you have any problems while in the area my cell is (407) 539-4736 I
always
have it with me.
