Having been born and raised there, I can tell you that it would be a major
mistake not to take that offer up.  Maui is the vacation isle, all the
chicks gravitate there, lots of things to do.  Even though I no longer have
the desire to live there due to drugs and gang problems, I vacation as often
as possible (my family still lives there.)  And with no housing or
transportation costs to deal with, you have more cash to play with ;-)  Go
for it.
