That's not unusual. The insurance companies know that the slightest damage
to your SHO in an accident will result in a total loss. New OEM replacement
parts are not available anymore for repairs. In case of an accident, they
may convince you accept used parts, but if you insist on new, they have a
total loss claim to pay.
