[Shotimes] Valve adjustment/Alignment specs

I am getting ready to do a valve adjustment on acouple of my SHO's and was 
interested in knowing if the valves should be set toward the minimum, the 
maximum or in the middle. Does it help to set the intakes to the minimum and 
the exhaust to the maximum?

The cars are driven normally and not too aggressive. Does anyone have 
alignment specs that has worked well for tire wear and doesn't compromise 
handling, or may even enhance handling?
