[Shotimes] muffler shops and flex pipe

I experimented with a true dual exhaust on my ' 94 ATX, cut the Y-pipe and
ran dual 2" pipe back to a Dynomax (i think) with 3" tips, took it off the
next day (it ran like that green stuff you find in a babies diaper) and
sounded like a sick rice burner. Had to fabricate a new Y to put it all
back together (just the 6" that was cut off) now it is welded all the way to
the mufflers.
I can't recommend mufflers since I put the stock ones back on mine, but I
can advise to stay away from the thought of a dual system (no back
pressure). I don't know the advantages of a larger resonator, but if you do
it and it does make some improvements let me know, I may tinker with mine
some more.
After hearing a friends ('99)and riding shotgun, I have decided to remove
the 3rd cat and the resonator, and run Flowmaster Original Series 40's on my
' 99......(hopefully sometime this month)
Hey Kirk, how's the work on that kit going ?????
