[Shotimes] muffler shops and flex pipe

He most likely has the Edelbrock RPMs, which seem to be specifically
designed to set off car alarms!!
Screw the 80mm and chip, just get the 75mm Bullet. Cheaper than buying and
messing with a chip, plus you can keep the stock airbox, which further cuts
the cost.
I have a spare LPM that I could sell that probably needs to be reprogrammed
(it was originally set up for the 80mm MAF on the X2J PCM in my '94 MTX, but
I suspect it needs work, as there is a 2nd LPM that was in the car with the
80mm MAF. Overall, I like the calibrated 80mm MAF-with-no-LPM setup I'm
running now a lot better.

My son's 95 MTX has a SS Y-pipe and stainless catback. His car is WAY WAY
louder than my 92 with PP Y-pipe Walker Dynomax sans resonator. In fact
his car is so loud he is able to set off car alarms. I keep waiting for
him to get pulled over. I'm sure one issue his car has, and I haven't had
time to look into it, is that the donut is shot. But a 19 year old kid
will prefer the extra noise. After all, he has 2 10" subs to drown out
the exhaust. :O
Furthermore, is car still is running the 55mm stock MAF. I know that the
MAF is hurting his performance. I need to find a chip to either make his
SS 80mm MAF work or buy a new 75mm Pro-M MAF.
