My guess is the PCM gets its info from the TPS. This may need changing.

Subject: [Shotimes] AC Questions on my 94 ATX
> My turn to ask an AC question: What the hell!?
> Okay, there's the question, here are the symptoms and maybe you all will
tell me it's normal. At steady driving my AC blows about 45 degree air. At
idle, it raises up to about 50-54 which I understand is normal for a 134
system. But what mine has been doing is when I accelerate, it starts to
blow warm air for as long as a minute or so up to the about 70 degrees.
I've been driving like a granny because the softer my throttle tip in, the
less the temp. rises. I know there's a high RPM cut off for the compressor
but this is no where near high RPMs. Could there be a problem with this?
Is it a sensor or what? My freon is right in the middle of the green zone
on my pressure gauge (around 35 psi. I think) and the AC self test comes
back with no problems. Could this be a problem with the clutch or the
pulley? The accessory belt is less than 5K miles old. Anyone have any
ideas? Thanks again!
