Whatever you select, I recommend spending whatever it takes to get a good
tire.  Don't scrimp.

In my less knowledgeable days, I thought a tire was a tire.  I've been in
situations where someone pulled out right in front of me, I had to stop, the
tires tried to do it but couldn't quite do it, so "bang".  A slightly better
tire would have prevented an accident.  Don't put a price on your safety or
your car's safety.  Say NO to all of those off-brand tires.
