I agree. The newer condensors have a couple advantages if you want to 
swing the cost. Mainly improved compressor life but possibly better 
performance. Don't forget the aftermarket Variable Orifice Valve for an 
inexpensive performance increase, or fine-tuning your adjustable low 
pressure switch set-point, for free.... I like my A/C meat locker cold 
too :-).
