[Shotimes] ABS code 13 (continued)

Ed:
 Code 22 is "Left Front Inlet Valve". No reference voltage. This means the
ABS computer can't see the LH front circuit. This should set a continuous
error light. With the car turned off, I would take the big 55 pin harness
off the ABS module (Computer) and plug it on and off a couple off times.
Then underneath the ABS module is the pump and valve body. HCU (Hydraulic
Control Unit). Take the 19 pin connector on and off the HCU several times
too. It takes at least 10 volts at the module to power each wheel. Sometimes
the contacts build up resistance from age or whatever. The HCU is under the
module so you have to remove that to get to the plug. The circuit board can
go bad inside the HCU from age too. They have been repaired by someone but
there are plenty of used ones around yet.
