Hi folks!

First off, I wanted to thank you all for the wealth of information and
assistance provided through the mail list.

Having sold off my busted '91 Plus and '92, the only thing I had left was my
'93 ATX.

As of about 3:00pm yesterday, Nissen Ford in Albany, OR took it on trade-in,
paid off the remaining owed (about $3k), and got me into an EXTREMELY low
mileage '99 Ford Explorer.

Yes, I realize it isn't an SHO, but it's fun, it's got the 4.0L V6 SOHC, so it
gets up on it, and it's not a maintenance nightmare that the SHO was turning
into.

I recently spent nearly $1500 in diagnostic time and labor to correct a wiring
short, and many other issues. On top of that, the car rolled over 120,000
miles, and the transmission had started slipping.

While I loved the SHO, I couldn't justify spending the amount of money
required to keep it running. It seems that every time I wanted to spend money
on the beast for any kind of performance mod, something new would break,
requiring me spending yet more money on repairs.

As such, I'm out of the SHO market, for the time being.

Who knows? Maybe down the road a bit, I'll find a nice, low mileage Gen3 or
something, and decide that, rather than getting another hole drilled in my
head, that I should buy the car. =)

As I'm out of SHO's, I've got a small number of parts floating around here
that I don't need.

I'll only advertise what I have in readily accessible inventory, and post the
rest later:

Subframe Connectors - Nook's
(Bought these, never got them installed - was waiting on more suspension stuff
to do this, never happened. I don't remember what I paid for them, so make me
an offer.)

D4U1 computer from a 1994 or 1995 SHO - $125

3.2L Intake + Throttle Body - Don't have the brackets or mounting hardware -
$200

Red anodized solid aluminum subframe bushings - $80

Spindles from a '94 or '95 Taurus, forget which (the right spindles for a '96
brake upgrade) - $75

Under-stereo cubbyhole box - $10

(Buyers pay shipping costs)

I'm quite sure that I've got a few more pieces around here, but I don't want
to offer them until I can verify their existence with my own eyes.

Anyhow, thanks again for all the help and conversation, guys. I really
appreciate it.

Please email me direct if you want any of this stuff.

Take care!
