[Shotimes] question #4 of 4 - suspension

If the gas is rough, you could also dump in a gallon or two or toluene or
benzene to help it. IIRC, there are some other folks on this list that have
used stuff like this that can fill in the details.
Not that changing the oil is a big deal, but I don't see the need to do
it........assuming that you did an oil change prior to storing the car
(which is really the time to do it). Nothing happens to oil in a car that
just sits.
Really the same thing with a cooling system flush. The time to do it is
before a car gets stored.
FWIW, I will be changing the oil in my wife's Del Sol soon. It has about 4K
miles on it, and it was last changed in October 2000. When the car IS
driven, it is driven far enough to get things hot....it's just that it sits
for a LONG time between drives.

Oil change was the first thing I did then I drained and refilled the
radiator. Once it's running I'll do a proper cooling system flush.
It would be a shame to throw away 16-17 gals of gas (I wouldn't know where
to dispose of it anyway), but if it won't fire up I'd like to eliminate bad
fuel as a suspect. I will try and fire it up with the old gas first.
Thanks, Al.
