[Shotimes] OK.....anyone want to take this car off my hands?

We have ourselves here a dilemma.....

The Plus from Hell got broken into while we were at Madison. It now needs a right
side rear quarter window, a right front door handle and lock, a trunk lock, the
trunk lock on the floor, and a new ignition tumbler. It was unlocked (on purpose),
but the idiots didn't try all the doors before they broke the window (they all have
VERY dark tinting, and it was probably at night when it happened). The ignition
works (and it runs fine) with the key, but the finger ring (or whatever it is)
around the tumbler is broken off. The right rear door was lightly pried, but not
opened....there is a little damage on the rear quarter where the pry bar went under,
and also a small ding on the roof near the jamb. The Sony CD radio wouldn't come
out, so they trashed it; but the rest of the dash, including the plastic radio
bezel, is OK. It has an ice cold R-134 conversion (done properly). It has a new
heater core. The EATC system works perfectly... a couple of buttons are broken.
The cruise works. There is some rust and a leak under the top of the deck lid, so
that water will run down the rear window and go into the trunk, and sit in the spare
tire well. There is also some rust at the two joints under the taillights where the
quarters weld to the license panel, but the paint is still there... maybe about 3
square inches total coverage that needs work on each side. It has all the plus
components, and a SPANKING new interior. Running gear seems good (haven't been
under the front) except for the front struts, which are fairly soft. The front
springs are OK, and the rears are good original (recently installed by me). Brakes
are good original, and the white slicers are dirty but good. Rubber is good. It
has a brand new CKP, new fuel pump, and I think we put a water pump and belt on it
when we did the engine. I know it will run a long time before it needs a 60K. Head
gaskets are new, and the heads are off a different engine that was positively BABIED
during its life (were in the black car I'm keeping for myself).

The drivetrain is excellent....Zach Leahy rebuilt this engine in my driveway. It's
gotten about 1000 miles on it since then....gets 25 mpg. It has SHOShop matched
injectors that are very young. The tranny, clutch, and rod shifter are fine. I
don't know how old the clutch is, but it has never even hinted at any problems in
the 2 years I've had and driven this car. Exhaust is stock.

Things that I know need fixing....the tach is spun around backwards. The speedo
cable needs replacing. The steering gear pinch at the firewall needs a shim to
tighten it up, or that shaft needs replacing. These and the rust were all that were
stopping me from giving it to my cousin, but I couldn't get time to finish it up.
So now it needs to go somewhere else....its luck and its welcome (with Eva) has run
out.

We have about $10K worth of hassle, expense, and bad luck invested in this car, but
I'll take whatever the insurance company wants to total it for. I'd like to keep it
from getting a salvage title....it's a nice car. The electrical problem that gave
it its name has long since been fixed....that was the positive battery cable end,
which is now brand new, and would have been replaced with a factory type two lead
cable, one to the solenoid and one to the PCM. I have a new aftermarket cable for
it.

It's white with black, and has 94K on the odo. It's had that for probably the whole
time Rob Lawn had it too, which probably puts it at about 130K miles. It also has a
police grille.

I was going to swap out the seats, hood, and deck lid with spoiler with another car
here (not mine), but that doesn't fare well for the rest of it, and it's too good to
part out.

Any takers? I can put pictures on the website if someone wants me to.....it's just
a standard white plus with standard visual cues....no apparent obvious owies except
for that broken far rear window........IDIOTS!!!!

The Lowrider was worth about $1900, but it has a lot more miles....I'd estimate
about $2200 or so, but I don't know exactly yet. Remember, all the hard mechanical
stuff is fixed....it's all cosmetic now. I put $2200 in the heat/a-c system by
itself.

It needs to go soon (like before the end of September)....Eva is blaming it (in
part) for our slow move to the new house and difficulty in selling the old one.
