Well, that will be like Lapeer if you come out in October. They totally
resurfaced the dragstrip in '99, and it doesn't have the bumps like places
like Milan!! ;-)
Besides, I'll be running the 911 at Lapeer (13.98 @ 102 best) so it should
be a good match for the SR71!!

Blackhawk was probably the easiest track on tires I've ever been on. It had
a smooth surface (pretty grippy) that didn't tend to "grind" on the tires
bad. The race rubber showed hardly any wear. Far cry from tracks like
summit point that just chew them to pieces after 1 day.
