Carl, I wouldn't believe that for a minute. For a given tire, the specs will
be the same, and a bad tire could come out of any factory.
Find some proof of this.....I'll bet you can't. Sure, Continental has
American plants.
Does this also mean that BMWs, MBs, Hondas, Nissans and Toyotas built here
are not as good as elsewhere? Hardly. There are some companies in the world
that can maintain their quality control across their organization.

And apparently for the same tire, there may be more than one manufacturing
plant. I have been told that Continental tires made in the USA are no
good. Same tire made in Germany is much better and stay round.
