Well the amount of pistons shouldn't have much to do with them fading.  If
they are fading, then the pad compound isn't a real high temp.  The front
rotors on those are pretty dang beefy, hard to imagine the rotors aren't big
enough for that kind of thermal abuse.  So the pads gotta be heating up, or
the fluid boiling in the caliper, but I would tend to think the brake pieces
are big enough (and all vented) to handle the heat, and that the fade would
be due to pads that just aren't up to it, and not from the fluid boiling.

At Pocono this weekend I shared a pit stall with Joe, guy I met at the last
time trial (runs a Z06).  Didn't get a chance to chat with him much since
the rain created a hectic day for us.  Guy had his girlfriend trained up
good though, he had her changing tires while he was off somewhere else (I
felt bad for her and had to help <g>)  Wow those 315 rear khumo V700 meats
are wide.  All the time trails were in the rain though, and I (FWD/Quaife)
was 3 secs faster  :)
