Subject: [Shotimes] Sunday car show burnout!

Sunday, at the all-Ford Show in E. Peoria, IL as we were
leaving, Larry Eck and I were joking about doing burnouts on
the way out. This show is on a private entry road and in
the past they have encouraged burnouts as people are leaving.

For some reason they weren't doing many at all. One reason
was the amount of people walking on the road getting to
their cars if they didn't have one in the show. Another
reason was the big transport that was picking up the new
Mustang Prototype that had been displayed there (incorrectly
advertised as the "2005" mustang in ads).

As Larry and I were pulling out, I stopped (in my 91 Mocha
Plus) to get out and talk with a friend that was watching
all the cars leave. He owns several GTO's and is famous for
doing a burnout at ANY event he attends. Larry went on
home so he missed what followed.

After watching the Mustang prototype load, and most cars
were gone, we decided to leave. I decided to try a burnout
since most people were off the road.

Rev'd it up nice, dropped the hammer and layed a nice
two-wheel patch for about 20 feet!

My friend heard several people standing around to comment:
"all these modified Mustangs and what does the best burnout?
  A FWD Taurus!"

Larry, I did the SHO Club proud!

glad that my differential survived the torture! ;)
