[Shotimes] starter sticking

I've been hearing for years that spilling oil in my SHO starter was going to kill it.  After 13 years, 175K miles, and 4 engines, the starter still works, and has never been rebuilt.  It gets oil spilled on it everytime I change the oil, which should be something on the order of 35 times.  I think when it finally dies, I won't be complaining...

Good point, Scot.  A while ago someone on the list said he was fabricating a
removable plastic shield for this exact purpose.    I think the list pissed
him off and he no longer subscribes.
