I didn't really get any substantial responses, so I'll try this again.  Do
any of you have any tips about replacing the cam chain tensioner?

The new part that I bought seems a little sticky.  What lubricants or
treatments should I apply to make sure it will do the job?

I am about to put in a new chain tensioner on the front (left) cams.  I've
traced the ticking sound there.  A couple of listers have said that a worn
tensioner is something you can live with, but I find the sound unnerving.

Anyone have any tips for me?
