[Shotimes] V8 transplant into Gen-4 Taurus-Possible?

Wouldn't it be simpler to just put the Gen4 sheet metal on the Gen3 body.
The nose, headlights, and front fenders you could do yourself, but the rear
window/quarter panel would have to be done at a body shop.
Why would you want to put an 'older' engine in a 'newer' car? Extreme
example - it irks me each time I see a previously fuel-injected 'Vette or
5.0 'Stang that now has a carbureted motor. A '66 Stang with a 5.0 - cool.
A '93 Stang with a carb'd 289 - ???
