Well, without dragging this out.....
"Mikey" feels that it is the "first" mod that should be done, and I
disagree. He & I discussed it personally, and I still disagree.
Yes, if I had a SHO that I was going to keep for a long time, I agree, but I
am not in that category (long story that we can discuss later.....unless you
are interested in buying a Moonlight Blue '94 MTX right after the CA
Convention!!).

I get to enjoy my Quaife several times a year on other track
days, and even on the street.
Yes, it is expensive, but I LIKE my 89 SHO and a blown
tranny would put a huge hole in that equation, so the
expense, though about what the entire car is worth, is NO
big deal since I am keeping the car a long time. Cheap
compared to having the car grenade at an unexpected time.
Not worth it to you or to many others? Sure, worth it to me
and to quite a few other people? You bet!
Just like the SHO is not for everyone, mods are not for
everyone. The quaife was a no-brainer for me and a lot of
SHO owners.
