[Shotimes] Emissions Test ??? Help !!

I had HC and NOx that were off by even more than you're showing.  I
replaced that EEC Coolant Temp sender because it was bad and I was
running very rich.  I was getting about 275 miles to the tank instead of
my normal 320, with mixed driving.  I also pulled the spout connector
right before I got in line at the inspection station just for added
help.  I passed with no problems at all after that.

The actual readings are as follows:

HC  1.7699   Limit 0.8000
CO  5.5367   Limit 15.0000
NOx 3.5380   Limit 2.0000

Are you sure that there are no actual emissions readings on the sheet
they gave you?  It will have NOx, CO2 and something else that I can't
remember right now.

Yeah I got a print out, but it didn't say much.  As far as maintenance I
just bought new plugs and wires that I'm going to throw on there.  I
also bought this fuel system additive that's supposed to help make it
pass.  As for the other parts I just assume they are original.  No I'm
in WI.  Could just new plugs and wire do the trick?  Also do you think
that my exhaust leak could be causing the problem?  Thanks again!

Did you get a printout of the readings?  Has there been any maintenance
lately, such as new plugs, wires, or ???  I assume original O2 sensors,
cats, etc?  More info might help, but these cars pass easily if in good
tune.  Are you in CA, with EGR?
