[Shotimes] SHO engines in other cars

Almost anything you can think of :-)  I'm getting ready to start a project
of dropping a SHO engine into a Merkur XR4Ti.  I'm going the first of next
week to look at several candidates.  As far as mods go, it will be twin
turbocharged, with twin intercoolers, running through a V6 Mustang WC T5
gearbox, sending the power to an 8.8" LSD from a T-bird SC.  Over the next
few months, I will be parting out what is not needed on my SHO.  More than
likely, it will end up a rolling chassis, perfect for a race car build up.

As far as other swaps go...  Lotus Esprit, Shebly Cobra kit car, Festiva,
Aspire, Tempo/Topaz, Probe, Escort/EXP, Mustang/Capri (Fox chassis), T-Bird
(Fox chassis), Capri (Mk1 and 2, German models from the 70s), Porsche 914
(haven't personally seen, just heard about it from someone on the E30 BMW
list), Toyota MR2 Mk1, Porsche 944 (seen a pic on the net, can't find it any
more), Triumph TR7, and probably many more.

The SHO engine is one cool engine.  I don't care for the Taurus, but I'm
crazy in love with the engine (heck, I have an intake hanging on my wall
behind my computer).  It is easily one of the top 25 engines ever made,
possibly top 10 (in my eyes, it's in the top 5).

anybody know what other cars besides the SHO will fit SHO engines....like i
know that a Mazda Miata will fit a Corvette engine in it, cause a guy who
lives up the road from me has that......so i started wondering what other
cars would run a SHO engine
