Another point to ride on below. Because it is well known that Honda and
Toyota are top shelf when it comes strictly to reliability, you will see
that duly reflected on the asking price for a used car, private or retail.
So, don't expect to find even a 4 year old car for that price with decent
mileage. I found this out recently when looking for a car for my son.
PS. I got lucky and found a 67K 95 MTX SHO (using SHOCLUB classifieds) for
him that has been holding up well so far. I sacrificed foreign
reliability (which was my initial search parameters) for American fun.
Also my son decided he didn't want to be caught dead driving a Honda
Accord.
