Varga was the original supplier of calipers. AZ sells replacement calipers
that are cast by someone else. I have purchased Cardone rebuilt calipers
that were original Ford calipers. There are other cars that use the Taurus
caliper but I think you have a caliper that was cast by an aftermarket
manufactuer and is not a rebuilt Ford product.

Subject: [Shotimes] Caliper questions
First, let me apologize. I'm sure you've all missed my sarcastic comments
lately. My wife just delivered our first baby last week, so I've been a bit
busy ;^)
Okay, are there cars that share the same basic caliper with the Taurus (and
obviously SHO)? Reason I ask is that I have two remanufactured front
calipers (from AutoZone) and my speedbleeders don't fit them. The bleeder
hole is noticeably smaller, I just don't know what size it is.
If I could narrow the list of what cars these calipers might be really
designed for maybe I could find the proper size speedbleeders?
FWIW, they appear to be exactly the same. They bolt up to the bracket just
fine and work like a charm. Just happen to have a different size bleeder!
Any help appreciated.
Oh, and to anybody who's been wondering if Speedbleeders are worth buying:
THEY ARE! I'm so happy with them I installed them on my buddy's '96 and (so
far) the rear of my '93.
