[Shotimes] Oil filter: FL1A on an ATX?

Quick question.

My buddy gave me some leftover FL1A filters (actually they're the SuperTech
equivalent).

Will these fit on my ATX?  Is the filter dangerously close to anything?  I
*thought* I remembered someone saying not to use them, but can't recall
exactly why.

I'd like to know before I bother removing my existing filter ;^)
