There is some difference between the rear seatbacks in gen1 and gen2 cars. 
The gen1 has a curve on both sides that functions as a sort of headrest. The 
gen2 is flat all the way across. The cushions appear to be the same.

Hey guys... if you got this message privately, that means I put you in a
category since you all have expressed interest in a group buy of these
wonderful leather seat kits. For those of you that were wondering, I spoke 
to
a rep a few minutes ago, and him or I didn't see any problem with these kits
fitting GEN 1 cars. .. the only difference I found was that GEN1 seat's
headrests had piping around them, where GEN2's didn't. so far we have 10
people who are very interested in this group buy, and if these 10 people do
decide to purchase, we're already at our 589 price. Also, if you want 2 tone
seats, add 30 bucks overall to your purchase, and if you want full leather
rears, add 100 bucks. Leather Seat's reassured me that those of us who 
choose
vynl outers for the back seat will have a hard time seeing that it is vynl.
