[Shotimes] Mystery Oil Leak

Ok I'm going to defer this to the list for an opinion and maybe an answer. I've got a strange oil leak on the Water pump end of the engine that I can't find and it's not leaving a mark anywhere to be seen. I do however have that smell oil burning off the exhust while driving. Anyone got any idea's where to look for this leak. And it's not crank seal. But the rear main is leaking like the Exxon Valdez. Also the source of my clutch problem I found out today when I tangled with a new GTO. After I burned the oil off the clutch it stopped slipping. beat the GTO but it was not a fair fight I was right lane he was left lane and when he saw the back of that 53 footer he locked them up. Then changed his pants. by the way it had an M plate on it. so GM owned it.
