The good news....the DPFE sensor had totally fallen off the head. It is held on
with the same size and threaded bolt that holds the fenders to the front inner body.
The bad news, the light still came on when I was on the freeway.
I don't think it is a vacuum leak. The hissing sound increases when I open the
throttle, whether the engine speed increases or not. The faster the engine is going
when I open the throttle, the louder the noise.
I'm going to take it to work today, early, to see if I can get it read somewhere.
I don't think this situation is going to hurt it. I'm not going to push it.
BOY.......are those tires smooth and quiet, after I balanced them and trued one
wheel.....!!!!
