Hi Mark, You are in rare company with this. I don't know many
people that chose to go this route for CD player. This setup has
worked flawlessly in my 92 for 12 years. Here are some notes:
1. Hit the play/pause button instead of the off button.
2. It is a SONY 10 disc changer rebadged with Ford logo.
3. The 10 disc cartridges are interchangeable with home units.
4. You can play some CD-Rs in it. Hit or miss.
5. Never needed to find any reset buttons when changing car battery.
6. If you were to insert the CD wrong, the display will give you an
error message.
