Hi Frank!
That car is a 49 state car. It was originally sold back there in your area
somewhere. It was brought out here when it was just a few months old. I don't
think it has EGR. I didn't spend much time under the hood....seems like it ws in
pretty good mechanical condition (other than that first gear synchro, which has
fixed itself for you, I guess) other than the a /c.

I'll ask the PO, but I think he had it 'tuned up' fairly recently. I just now
called and left a message...he'll get back to me sometime soon. I asked about the
water pump specifically, and the other items in the 60k as well. He should get back
to me by tomorrow...I'll let you know.
The 60k includes the timing belt -- from 50 to 80 bucks depending on where you get
it, the CPS -- about 60 bucks from NAPA (for me)...they were cheaper, then they went
up, the front seal -- about 12 bucks from Ford, and the waterpump. Some folks just
change the front of it...I do the whole thing to make sure the O rings are new. I
pay about 215 for a NAPA new pump. The rest of it is just time, as you know...it
should take most of one day to do it. If you do them once or twice a week it might
take 4 hours.

I told the prior owner in the message I left that you love it...he was hoping I
would keep both of the cars I got from him for myself. He'll be glad to know his
prior car (yours...the '90 was his wife's) is in such gentle and loving hands. Send
me a picture of it when it is all done, so I can send it to him.
