Actually...The SHO Shop front linear springs are only 205-210 ft/lb rating.
Story has it the SHO Shop used slo springs rate instead of the SHO spring
rate when they were developed.

I've had SSL on my 95 MTX since 1998, they are not bad for the street since
the rating is about the same as the stock springs, they have konis on and
are set for about 1/3 turns on the soft side. I ran the SSL fronts with my
sagging stock rear springs for 3 months and everything was ok. When I added
the SSL rear springs the rear end barely dropped, but I could tell the
difference of the higher rate rears.

If anyone would like a pix of what the SSL look like on the front I can send
on too you, just ask.

Subject: [Shotimes] FS: SHO Shop linear front springs

I have a pair of SHO Shop linear springs, fronts only, for 89-95 SHOs. Make
an offer before they go on eBay, I prefer to sell to SHOtimers. These
springs are used, in excellent condition, never altered or cut.

These springs take the front end of a Gen1 or Gen2 SHO about as low as you
dare go. I do not know the lb/in rate but it's high. These springs would
be best on a track car. On the street, IMHO, they're too much.

Note they do require a higher-rate damper such as Tokico or Koni. Again
IMHO Tokicos don't keep up with these springs. On a track car with Konis
turned up firm, they'd be fine.

Also note, these springs lower the front so much that an alignment kit may
be needed to obtain satisfactory camber.
