Hey Jim!!!
Have I got a deal for you. As long as you can do without cassette, I recommend the
Pioneer/Premier DEH line of CD head units. The models are new for 2004...I have the
DEH-P550MP from 2003 in two of my cars. It goes for almost 300 bucks list...I pay
200... but there are cheaper units that are as good for what you need. There is the
DEH-P360, which is only $200 list, which means I could get it for you for about
$125. It controls a Pioneer CD changer if you want one of those later, and has a
very good radio, and 50 watts peak power for 4 channels. That'd be about 30 watts
RMS, which is plenty for us older guys that don't need window breaking bass. Plus,
it has a two year warranty, twice as long as most stereos. I can get you good
speakers, too, for a great price, if you need them. I'm installing a system in a
local guy's SHO in a week or two who wants more or less the same thing you do, but
he wants cassette. I need to go a different brand for that... Pioneer/Premier are
closing out the cassette decks in their linies.
Let me know....we can fix you up just right for not much money, and get you a VERY
dependable system.
Check out that DEH-P350 at

You should be able to go back to look at all the various decks with the proper tab
on that page.
