Spider isn't an insect, just to be technical.

According to my friend who just got home from Iraq a few months ago,
this is real.....these things are very dangerous, says you can actually hear
them scurry across the sand, the guys (troops) scatter when they hear that
sound and they all break out the flashlights trying to figure out where it
is....he also said if you kill one it emits a pheremone that other spiders can
follow to the location in an attempt to "help" the troubled one.
Just one more reason to thank these guys for all they do for "US".

From someone stationed in Baghdad. He was recently bitten by a
camel spider which was hiding in his sleeping bag. I thought you'd like
to see what a camel spider looks like. It'll give you a better idea of
what our troops are dealing with. Enclosed is a picture of his friend
holding up two spiders.
