You can (I can, anyway) get .001 and .002 undersized Clevites from NAPA. They'd
take longer to get, since they aren't called for as much, and therefore not kept in
local warehouses, but they are available. I think you can get .010 undersized as
well.
I can just imagine having an engine/tranny totally rebuilt from top to bottom,
wrapped in shrink wrap after being sprayed with whatever to keep it from rusting,
and then stored away somewhere for use in 10 years or so. Then, when the time came
to go get it, I'd not be able to find it, and Eva would say....."Oh, I had that
tossed 5 years ago...I thougt it was some of your old junk parts!"
