I just got a nice set of Stage 1 cams for a price I couldn't pass up. Anyhow
at least one person has told me that they have heard bad things about the
lash caps that the SHOshop provides for staged cam installs. I seem to
remember that Fred H. had mentioned something about them too a while back
when I was at his shop. So this brings me to my real question. Does anyone
have any good info on where to get a good set of lash caps? If need's be I
was going to send a few of the caps I have to one of the places I have seen
via google that sell lash caps, but if anyone has some experience with a
company for lash caps other than the shoshop, please let me know. I'd also
like to get the thickest ones I can get and still find shims for (even if
they are bike shims) as I was going to buy all new shims anyway from my
local Yamaha dealer, besides I want to see about a 2004 R1 anyway.
