Oh Grasshopper, he was Mr. Hemi back in the day ('60s & '70s).  Between him 
and Keith Black they built the most legendary nitro motors of the era.  Perhaps 
some of his clientele -- Don "The Snake" Prudhomme, Tom "The Mongoose" 
McEwen, Ed McCulloch -- might set off a few mental christmas-tree lights ;-)

Ed Pink still has his operation going in Van Nuys, but not building Chrysler 
Hemis any more, alas.

I always thought the "Ed Pink Elephant Motor" by virtue of its name should've 
been an alcohol burner.  But noooooooo.
