[Shotimes] To junk or not to junk?

Hello all,
      I own a 93 red atx which I love to death but its falling apart.  The transmission is on its way out, I need struts all the way around, both quarters are rusted out along with a spot on the trunk, the car has 129k on it and the engine prob has about 60k on it(it as a salvage engine) and it has a valve or head gasket leak along with a noisy power steering pump,  Also it takes me about 5 months for my front rotors to warp.  I need tires all the way around.  Thats the bad and heres the good.  The engine does not smoke at all and runs very strong the red paint is still very bright and I love the car, I have owned it for 8 years.  My question is.....is the car worth fixing?  As it looks now it's gonna be about 3k-4k to fix to restore to its previous luster.  I have been looking at a 95 mtx supercoupe for about $6500 and that has 65k on it and is in excellent condition.  My question is what would you do in my position?  I am going away to school in the summer and I need a good car I can just pay cash for and be done with it.
