A Supercoupe is nowhere near ideal for a college kid with no money. They
have head gasket problems, exhaust problems, transmission problems, etc,
none of which are easy to fix. When it comes to mechanics and parts prices,
it's basically a rear wheel drive SHO with 315 ft/lbs of torque.
I picked up my 98' Grand Prix GTP for $6500 out the door. It has a 5 star
JD power rating in all quality areas and is known to be a generally sound
car. It certainly doesn't have the soul of the SHO, but it does have the
speed of the supercoupe and it will be a dependable ride.
Best Regards,
Mike
