Shylo: "Not trying to rain on anyone's parade. If it works for ya, go for
it. But whatever happened to just good ole exercise? I eat what I want, ride my
bike to class,
and when practical, all around Greensboro (saves on gas ;-), and maybe go to
the gym 3 times a week. 19 years old, don't really drink, did get lazy last
fall and gained 30 pounds (not really proud of that), but have lost 5 pounds in
the last month just eating what
I want and doing those things that I've mentioned. I'm going to keep it up,
and hopefully get back some of that metabolism. Or does this work for me
because I'm still young?"

Works for me too at age 53. In '94 I dropped from 220 / 38" to 160 / 32" in
a bit more than a year by starting to ride a bike to work, and still eating
essentially my regular diet. Still right there ten years later. Now work is a
30 mile round trip up and down across four roller-coaster stream valleys each
way, on a 45 mph main surface artery, and a 3-hour two-way bicycle commute
just ain't a happenin' thing. But throwin' the my old two-smoker RD400 around
the curves and over the whoops is a pretty good workout and exercises all the
synapses too. Uncle Al Zheimer ain't welcome round these parts, nohow!

On the other hand I'm OBVIOUSLY losin' it, just bought a SHO, q.e.d. C'mon,
Gramps, just sign this power of attorney already...
