[Shotimes] Transmission/Clutch

[Mike Murphy]

Just to make sure we are talking about the blue plastic half moon shape 
plastic part with teeth...its the part that clicks when you pull up on the 
clutch pedal.

I know of three cars that needed to be fixed because of this.   Two were 
with SHO Shop heavy duty race clutch that probably was the catalyst for the 
teeth to not hold.   The other was a regular stock clutch SHO.

Mike,

I am not saying that the quadrant can't get worn, but honestly, I have never 
really heard of one wearing out. Breaking maybe, springs come loose, but the 
quadrant gets so little real wear, it is a lifetime part for most cars.
