The liquid line, that goes from the condensor to the evaporator, with the orifice in
it, is about 35 or 40 bucks at my a/c shop, when I had the Lowrider converted.  You
should be able to get one cheaper than 55 bucks.....but then again that was in 2000.
 It is made of plastic, and is a normally replaced item in an a/c overhaul or R-134
conversion.
